VASP Code
The VASP code serves to uniquely identify VASPs within the Sygna Bridge network and utilizes a similar structure to the banking industry’s SWIFT code standard. It is composed of 8 characters, divisible into 3 parts.
| Number of Letters | Description |
|---|---|
| 4 | Represent the name of the VASP |
| 2 | ISO 3166- 1 alpha- 2 country code |
| 2 | Location city code |

After a VASP has registered at Sygna alliance (be a Sygna Bridge, Gate or Hub VASP), it will be assigned a simple code to represent its public identity, while the first 4 letters (VASP name) and 2 letters of location city code can be chosen by the VASP itself.
